#11 Greasemonkey script or FF addon, for EditArea on any website

(I filed the same feature request in CodePress, let's see who is faster ;) http://sourceforge.net/tracker/index.php?func=detail&aid=2028902&group_id=186981&atid=919470. Well, if anyone feels motivated at all.)

One drawback of EditArea (as I understood) is that you have to edit the html of the page where we want it to appear. This is not easy if
- I am not the owner of the website
- I would have to mess with 3rd party code I would prefer to leave unchanged (like the CMS backend. Epressionengine, in my case).

So, the idea
- make a Firefox Addon that allows to add CodePress syntax colors to any textarea. Ideally, the addon will remember the page url and the id of the textarea.
- maybe this is easier with Greasemonkey and/or Opera UserJS.

It would be really great to see this feature!
