After changing display preferences to use XShape, easystroke does not save the preferences correctly

easystroke 0.6.0, running under Fedora 20 64 bit.

Steps to Reproduce:

  1. Open preferences
  2. Change "method for display" to XShape
  3. Close easystroke and restart

Actual results

The method goes back to whatever it was before

Expected results:

The method stays as XShape

Notes

Changes to any other method are saved correctly.
Color and width are changed and saved correctly.
Trying to manually changing the display flag in the .easystroke/preferences file to 1 (the index of the XShape entry in the popup) results in easystroke reverting to "None". Manually changing to any other valid value results into correct behaviour.

Thanks for reporting, it looks like this issue has existed since 2008. Fixed on the next branch.

The exact same bug is happening to me right know.

According to synaptic Im with easystroke 0.6.0-0Ubuntu5 on elementary OS Loki (bases on Ubuntu 16.04 LTS) installed from standard repos.
