Hello!
When I draw a molecule that has heteroatoms just on one side (and thus, text fields), the bounding box seems to be calculated incorrecly such that only the text fields are included, bonds are ignored. This problem occurs with exporting to both PDF and EPS.
As an example, if you omit the H atoms in (Z)-1,2-ethenedithiolate (drawing it upright with the S atoms to the right), only the S atoms appear in the resulting PDF or EPS file. When I import such an EPS file into gimp and tell gimp to ignore the bounding box, all of the drawing "reappears".
The current workaround is to simply add empty text fields at the corners. These can be adjusted manually by editing the ECH file to reduce unwanted white borders.
Best wishes,
Svante

P.S.: Great program!
Hi,
I know this is old but hopefully you'll be subscribed to this and so notice!
I can't reproduce this error, could you perhaps attach a .ech file that causes the problem?
Cheers
