[E1000-devel] slow counter updates

Hi, I recall a year or two ago there was a problem with the e1000 driver
in which it would only update the /proc/net/dev counters every couple of
seconds.  It's happening again with recent kernels (2.6.19-rc2).  Would
it be possible to re-implement timely updates?
