[E1000-devel] Setting e1000 to 100Mbit get packet errors

Setting e1000 to 100Mbit using ethtool I see packet
errors. Running at 1000Mbit I don't see any. My system
is a supermicro with dual e1000's. I'm running a load
test where I'm sending 5Mbit/sec traffic though it, all
packets are the same with payload of 1000bytes.

I can run this test with the chips set to 1000Mbit and
never see any errors at speeds from 5Mbit to 500Mbit.
I'll get dropped packets at very high speeds but never
packet errors. 

I'm wondering if any one else has seen this type of
behaviour.
