GTA3 patch & Diablo Clone can't be windowed

A. GTA3 Lang Patch Windowed issue

1. install GTA3 , it need to copy cd2 audio folder to disk and use cracked version
2. look install.jpg to install this patch
3. run WMHHZ_GTAIII_CN-EXE.exe
4. mount CDROM.iso to Virtual CD Device and then click gta3.exe to run , and it only fullscreen mode , dxwnd is no working

I use this language patch to patch GTA3 to chinese lang
after do this , GTA3 can't be windowed

B. Diablo Clone Game(1999-2004) Windowed issue

I think it made with DX8 , install and mount CD2 to Virtual CD Device and then play , and it only fullscreen mode , dxwnd is not working

plz help ... I use origin diablo/gta3 import setting , but windowed mode still not work

First case, GTA3 lang patch:

the exe is heavily obfuscated. Before messing with my pc (I don't have so many to throw one away...) I whish to know whether the exe is the translated game or simply a patcher for the english exe. In the first case, the obfuscation is strong enough to be likely a desperate situation. In the second case, if you swear that this is not a virus, I could try ....

Second case, LuXiaoFeng:

The problem here is that "Lxf.exe" is simply a frontend, but the actual game to hook is "core.dat" (a small trick: when you get a game that DxWnd can't control at all, have a look at the task manager: sometimes the name of what's running is not the name of the file you hooked).
So, put lxf.exe path in the "launcher" field and "core.dat" path in the "path" field, and that's it!

P.s. thank you for the wonderful game. Any volunteer for a translation patch?

Nevermind, I tried:
First case, GTA lang patch

the exe is a patcher that replaces the english GTA3.exe with a new chinese version (the file size grows a little bigger). Probably the new hexe hooks itself to insert the hacks, and this conflicts with the same operation made by DxWnd. I tried several combinations of flags, but none worked. In one case I got a DirectDraw method recursion, so maybe it is possible to fix that, but it won't be easy, neither quick and maybe impossible. We will see ....

I've check LuXiaoFeng , it only release china language version , no english ..

My apologies, I wasn't clear:
Any volunteer TO BUILD a translation patch?
If anyone is interested, I could investigate about the technical problems.

About GTA3: in addition to the DxWnd problems (it seems that there's no way to windowize it) I also saw that, also without DxWnd, the game crashes after the intro movies. This won't make things any easier!
