It seems that the compliant files are automatically detected and processed without any alterations. Would be good to have confirmation from somebody else.

AC3 files will be also automatically passed through if they are DVD compliant (48000Hz). Please check the audio encoding option in title properties: it must be Copy to skip reencoding.
VOB files are also supported, but it must not be splitted VOBs. If size of video is bigger as 1 GB, it will be automatically splitted in multiple VOBs before burning on DVD. If you have those files (e.g. vts_01_1.vob ... vts_01_4.vob) you need to link they together in one singe VOB file using tools such as VOBMerge.

I've had good luck so far with this work process in that dvd styler passes through most mpeg 2 files.
It would be nice to also automatically pass through AC3 files if the entire DVD project is set to AC3.
A nice to have would be the ability to directly pass through VOB files. Are vob files directly supported by dvd styler?
