I have passed a lot of time to create dvd menus for school and home projects ! And I was pretty happy of the result. But when I'm burning the DVD, each time, only one or few (but a little minority of the files) are bugging at the middle or the end of the video.
I explain. For each dvd, even though the iso size is correct (by pushing videos size between 0.6Mb/s and 2Mb/s, quality of video is not important as it is 1980's videos! but the sum of original videos in mp4 is less than 4.3GB), the preview with vlc is ok. But when I'm burning on DVD (I choose 8x, the DVD used are Verbatim DVD+R 4.7GB 16x), DVD styler says everything's ok : "burning ok". But on my pc or on my DVD home, there is always a bug on one or few videos on the result.
For example, I have burned yesterday : 7 mp4 videos (total original size 2.3GB - 296min) at 1.7Mb/s. The iso size indicated is 4.0GB, the preview and burning are ok but finally, when I try to read the DVD, the 6 first videos are ok, menus are ok, but the 7th video is lagging from the minute 20 (on 48min) and crash totally the dvd few seconds later.
I have tried another project, and it's also the last mini-videos (this time few videos of 2 min each) who do the same thing, the rest of the dvd is ok
Do you think it's the burning who creates the problem ? or the size of videos ? Do I have to create iso file and then burn it with another application ?
Thanks for your help !
Try creating an ISO image (or use "Just generate") and test in a software player. Then you can check if the generation is OK and if it is then burn with another applikation,
Cheers
Thanks for your help. But still can't resolve what's the problem is ! I have tried with another project (and another videos). There is 6 videos on this one, when burning the ISO image of 4.2Gb (which is totally ok when I read the iso image with vlc) with another application, still the same problem : lag then crash from the minute 20 of the last video ... I don't understand why... The rest is ok, but it lacks the last part of the last video from minute 20 to 83 minutes.
If someone has an idea of what's going on ?
