#651 menu item to enable subtitles doesn't work in Sony DVD players

No

I created a menu option to enable subtitles, and another menu option to disable subtitles. These menu options work in VLC and do as expected, but on any Sony brand DVD player or PlayStation 3, they have no effect. The subtitles are on the disc and work if I press the subtitle button on the Sony remote, but it is confusing that the menu option I created doesn't work only in Sony DVD payers.

Since it works in VLC, I expect it would work in some other DVD players, but not Sony.

How can I fix this?

If you're using a VMGM menu to select the subtitles note this is not strictly legal. You need a titleset menu for this (Or create jumppads).

About buttons on VMGM Menus to select audio tracks or subtitle tracks:
I want DVDStyler to display an error message
    when users click "Start" button.

    Cheers
