Change the video property from "Copy" to "PAL" (or "NTSC")

    Maybe to add:
the error comes while the creating dvd process, not when beginning, there are many lines which seem to be ok

    I know.

It's issued from DVDAuthor (The final stage in DVDStyler).

And it's not a bug. It's due to the nature/fault in your source video. It most likely lacks "start time" meaning you can't use it in "Copy" mode. One solution is to change this to "PAL".

My source is a rendered video from Sony Vegas (current version).
Im already using PAL mode (also tried NTSC)

    Try re-mux with MKVToolnix
If you use Sony Vegas PAL template for rendering you should be able to use "Copy" in DVDStyler even though it's initially set to "PAL"

    ok, now it worked!
but i have one other problem now:

i inserted a background image and some buttons to the menu.
Now the backround is an "ugly-wahsed" grey and the buttons are all hidden, only selected buttons text is visible with the selected color
