On PC and Mac the low resolution of the application results in a pixelated icon on the taskbar/doc.

Thank you for the proposal. Unfortunately SVG icon cannot be assigned as application icon. But I already added icons with higher resolution (256px) to the Mac OS X bundle. The windows version will be fixed in next version.

Yes, the 2.7.1 icon on Mac is very scalable now. Thank you!
