I compiled last DVDStyler on OS X 10.8.5. Unfortunately I havn't another computer with older OS X now.
So, I think, DVDStyler 2.5 will work only on OS X >= 10.8.
But now you can update your computer to OS X 10.9 for free (in App Store).

I'm having the same problem as originally reported on Mac OS X 10.8.5 - crash report attached.
Requirements for last DVDStyler are changed to Mac OS X 10.9.x
