Thank you all, guys. Things still don't work as I would like but I learned a lot! > Ah, maybe that is coming from using two <menus> tags? Yeah, you are right! After reducing duplicate tags to just a single <menu> tag, dvdauthor wasn't confused anymore and referencing menus was successful. > ERR: Button command is too complex to fit in one instruction, and allgprm==true." And both of you are right here, disabling allgprm made errors disappear. > I think you might need to spumux it with something Done, I spu-muxed a single black pixel but... still this trick doesn't work. Until now, (I put the brief intro in vmgm) my result is a not-working dvd. When inserting the disc in my stand-alone player the brief clip is skipped, menus are both skipped - I mean I see NOTHING AT ALL -, but title 1 is played, title 2 is played, then the main menu is played. Hey, what's happening? (further, vlc behaviour is different but I mainly keep the stand-alone player as reference) Let's try another way... > fpc: g2 = 1; jump to titleset 1 menu entry root > titleset 1 menu entry root: if (g2 == 1) jump title 2; > title 2 pre: g2 = 0 > title 2 post: call menu entry root Hey! Why don't doing: fpc: jump to title2 title 2: show clip title 2 post: call menu entry root ? Is this the same? Anyway, a flag is a smart trick! I like this, I just gave it a try and... dvdauthor doesn't compile. It stops at line 21: jump title 2; This line is used within a few statements and dvdauthor likes it, but not here. The report: ERR: Titles already defined Don't know what it means, I will try different ways tomorrow. Got tired, good night! |
