Apart from the *.wav files (kept in some particular way in the MPlayer encoding process) been and not been cut'n'paste'd with Audacity, the DVD disks, the ones working and the ones not working on regular illiterate-style DVD players, are produced in exactly the same way. Same XML file, same lavc or mp2enc or twolame to encode the wave file (toolame just produces slow audio for any of the two Athlon 64 based systems, anyone has any similar experience on that?), same mplex options, and the dvdauthor line... So, maybe I should try audacity list? The issue is with cut'n'paste treatment with Audacity somehow not giving a wave file that fits the mpeg to which it is, after twolame or such encoding, fed... And dvdauthor wines about the discontinuities in audio... So if only someone knew what that: WARN: Transition from non-audio to audio VOB; assuming discontinuity. really cries foul about.... I could give any necessary details the next time I am solving sync problems... whenever exactly that may be... but now I've my hands dirty in other business... Ciao Paolo, da dove sei, che citta' d'Italia? (for the readers: Hi, Paolo, where're you from, what Italilan city)? Miro Zagreb, Croatia P.S. That toolame issue I mention above kept me bogged down, as it is, or was, the default in encode2mpeg which I used for long time, and I couldn't figure out how come the 66% of real speed audio only on AMD 64 systems, and not on the old Intel box... -- View this message in context: http://www.nabble.com/-Dvdauthor-users--Not-working-exactly-right....-tf2790744.html#a10995286 Sent from the dvdauthor-users mailing list archive at Nabble.com. |
