I've written two thingies for using vobedit/Project-X .sup files in/for dvdauthor. 1) pgcpal: extracts the palette from a/any specified PGC in an .ifo file as a dvdauthor-compliant palette. 2) sup4unmux: generate a (pseudo-)mpeg stream from a vobedit or Project-X .sup file which can be subsequently used as input by spuunmux http://fb14.uni-mainz.de/~cyp/dvdauthor/pgcpal.c http://fb14.uni-mainz.de/~cyp/dvdauthor/sup4unmux.c Both are os/architecture/intsize/compiler neutral, and don't depend on any libraries other than the standard ones included with an os/toolchain. A .sup to xml conversion would go like this: spu4unmux -p palette_file somefile.sup | spuunmux /dev/stdin or when extracting a palette from, say, title 3 of a vts ifo: pgcpal t3:some.ifo | spu4unmux -p - some.sup | spuunmux /dev/stdin Regards, Cyrus --------------------------------------------- * "Never explain - your friends don't need it, and your enemies won't believe you anyhow." -- Elbert Hubbard |
