Since a few updates happened in environments (Debian(!), Arch, etc)
dir2slideshow and dvd-slideshow doesn't work anymore well.
the find directive changed, so there is an error when running dir2slideshow:
https://bbs.archlinux.org/viewtopic.php?pid=1375786
its about this error:
find: paths must precede expression: NICEFUTURE.INFO_10257841025787.jpg
than next one is sox:
still working but depreceated:
ox WARN sox: Option -s' is deprecated, use-e signed-integer' instead.
sox WARN sox: Option -2' is deprecated, use-b 16' instead.
sox WARN sox: Option -2' is deprecated, use-b 16' instead.
sox WARN sox: Option -s' is deprecated, use-e signed-integer' instead.
and last, du problem to read:
du: cannot access '/run/media/rafael/DISK4/TEST/dvd-slideshow_temp_1726/fade_0022.ppm': No such file or directory
/usr/bin/dvd-slideshow: line 962: [: 1244175: unary operator expected
this is reproductible with archlinux stable 32bit, installing dvd-slideshow from official repos.
Can be reproduced in Linux Mint too.
