Some new (or not) ideas:
1- In order to maintain compatibility with Super Dune, Dune Extended and other Dune 2 versions, there could be 2 profiles for multiplayer: Classic (compatible with the above) and Non-classic (or another name - with modifications, such as bigger variability between the houses and air/anti-air mechanics)
2- Unit veterancy (similar to C&C: Red Alert 2 and C&C: Generals)
3- Walls as "just walls" (and not buildings, with "blowing up sound", as of now)
4- The ability to create more than one Wall tile when placing Wall tiles spaced out 2 or 3 tiles from another Wall tile (similar to C&C: Red Alert 2)
5- Rally point indicator (just something to point out where it is; it could be similar to the one on Dune Dynasty)
6- Rally point for Refinery and Repair Facility
7- Deviator attack affecting an area, and with higher chance to convert
8- Airlifting unit to repair and "back to the arena" (the spot where it was airlifted from, or it could be the rally point of the Repair Facility), WITH a requirement cost (like, requiring the player to have High-Tech Factory and/ or having the Repair Facility upgraded, or maybe assign a Carryall only for that purpose)
Regarding the last one, I know that it´s been discussed before and not accepted, but I think it would be nice to have it, since a lot of people liked it (I´m proposing that it shouldn´t come for FREE). It´s another feature that changes the game mechanics for the better (another one that does that is to manually choose to airlift Harvesters to Refineries or spice fields, a feature not present in the original).
4 would save a lot of clicking and "micro-managing". #7 considering the "population limit" is larger than in Dune II, I would agree that "power units" should have greater fire-power.
