I tested the very old (1984) game Alley Cat with
DosBox, runs nice, but it always get the default CGA
palette (white, black, cyan, magenta), instead, it
should somethimes change the colors of this palette (or
use alternative palettes, i don't know). And so, colors
like red, blue and green should appear in this game too
(but since it's CGA, no more than 4 colors shows at the
same time).

Works fine in the CVS, what version did you use?

I used 0.63 version. This problem shows up when some
flashing screens doesn't flashes (eg: when you're zapped
underwater). Although the game continues to run normally, it
simple doesn't change the colors...
How / where to download a 0.64 or the CVS version?

For now you can use machine=cga in dosbox.conf
which displays the pallette correct for cga games.

The game works as it should, palettes are changed as they
are supposed to (e.g. the cheese scene has
red/yellow/green, most other scenes magenta/white/cyan).
The only 'omission' in DOSbox is that DOSbox doesn't
display the CGA border color, so that there's no flashing
when you are zapped. But that's no bug, that's a missing
feature.
