I would like the idea that dooble can use all firefox extensions out of the box, because many Firefox users will stay with Firefox if they cannot use their toolbar extensions any more in a new browser. The YaCyBar firefox extension: since dooble will be a YaCy browser it does not need the YaCyBar as an XUL extension. The YaCyBar provides an easy access to the YaCy search interface and to the YaCy bookmark system. When dooble's search window access YaCy as search engine and dooble's bookmark system depends on the YaCy bookmarks, then you have everything as part of the browser which was added with the YaCyBar as extension to Firefox. That means you don't need the YaCyBar as extension in dooble. |
