  • Thanks for the program under a free open source license!
  • A simple, beginner-friendly browser. Not the fastest, but it's useful for a newbie.

How fast do you want it to be? Dooble is speedy.
  • Solid, quick and without so many extra features that in a computer a bit slower will just make evrything run slower. What Dooble does, it does well. Very very very well done guys!!

  • A nice browser with many potential The first time I know about Dooble is from PC-BSD forum when someone posting about it. My first impressions about this browser are: 1. Little bit restrictive As a browser with focus on security and privacy Dooble put some restriction which diminish comfort. When user start the browser for the first time, a message which tell about passphrase appear without shortcut to go to the menu directly which is mentioned by the message. The minimal character required for passphrase also too long (16 character). 2. Little bit complicated The interface of Dooble is little bit complicated. It contains 10 menu bar which too much compared to Firefox with only 7 menu bar. And some menu only have one or few options. The placement of "settings" option which usually inside "edit" or "tool" menu is inside "window" menu in Dooble which is not common. When user open "settings" menu he will face big new window which is not really simple for small screen user. 3. Lack of customization As a qt based browser, Dooble should give more options for user to customize his browser. Compared to mozilla which allow user to arrange the placement of toolbar Dooble doesn't provide this feature. Qupzilla is a good sample of customable browser. 4. Lack of addons As a relatively new browser, Dooble lack of addons which are very common in Firefox or Chrome. It may be easier to solved if Dooble developers want to add feature to allow Firefox or Chrome addon to be used by user. 5. Doesn't supported by many website When I am browsing using Dooble, some website doesn't opened correctly. Google main page is really different from other browser. One of website which currently aren't supported by Dooble is trello.com. Whatbrowser.org also misidentified Dooble as Safari.

    Try Dooble 2.x!
  • Impressed! This must be the best and most solid browser I have tried. Have tried almost all of them and believe this is where I will end up. Love the framework. The whole thing gives the impression that this is a very well thought trough project. I voted 4 on ease, because it is more than a regular browser and takes a bit time to get to know and understand all the USEFUL features. So 4 is not negative at all, just that it might take some more time to get to know it compared to the other bloated browsers out there. Thanks a lot! I'll spread the word.

  • I like Dooble also, but can't seem to understand how to save any bookmarks and history at all as I've been through settings a few times. On the Homepage where example windows of the program are listed, it appears there is a nice looking 'would be homepage' that looks like gray world map and a search bar with 'dooble' colors underneath and I was unable to find that page or locate through search an address for that illustrated page. • I like Dooble. It is extremely fast and I love how fast it can download. I am frustrated because everytime I close Dooble all my bookmarks disappear. I have set all the preferences to what I think they should be and to keep cookies. Why are my bookmarks disappearing?
