What platform are you on? Do you have access to the OpenOffice Word Processor (oowriter)? If so, you might consider using rst2odt, then reading the resulting .odt file into oowriter, and then exporting to PDF: test.txt --> rst2odt --> test.odt --> oowriter --> test.pdf You can read about rst2odt here: http://www.rexx.com/~dkuhlman/odtwriter.html If you are interested, I can send you the PDF file that I produced from your test.txt file, so that you can see whether the output is what you want. I don't want to attach it to this message addressed to the list, because it is over 300K. You should be aware that rst2latex is much more mature than rst2odt, which is still in sandbox.
