Not realizing that .. sectnum:: was the same thing, I put them both in. Taking the old one out fixed things. Okay, but now there's an architectural problem. This section numbering stuff should (be able to) affect other things, like table, figure, and page numbers. Those numbers are generated by individual writers. For latex, we might change the table and page numbering prefixes via \renewcommand{\thetable}{5.\arabic{table}} \renewcommand{\thepage}{5-\arabic{page}} I'm not sure what we'd do for the HTML writer, but it probably has to happen in its internal code. -- Dave Abrahams Boost Consulting http://www.boost-consulting.com |
