[Docutils-users] Installation without root privilege - easy/possible?

How easy is it (or is it possible even) to install Docutils for use on
a shell account accessed via ssh and where you don't have root access?

It would be very useful to be able to use Docutils (rst2html.py in
particular) on this shell account which is associated with my hosting
provider and has direct access to my web pages.
