I was thinking about the writing process, when you need a way to reload the same slide over and over again. Looking at the slide number and typing '#slideX' seemed easier than thinking about how docutils transforms the section title into an id. But because the slide numbering can change, it would be better to add explicit targets anyway (as you point out), so I'll just use the slide titles. And to easily get to them during writing just include a `.. contents::` in the handout version, so you don't have to type anything. thanks for smacking my head :) |
