Summary: Update profile does not show changes

Initial Comment:
When change profile fields (like home page URL, full 
name, etc.) changes are not shown back in user profile 
page.
The changes are stored to profile (I can see my 
signature), but not filled in profile page.

Is this in relation to the message you get after updating
your profile, i.e. "Succesfully updated display options"?
