Bugs item #2790414, was opened at 2009-05-11 22:04 Message generated for change (Tracker Item Submitted) made by annu7uch You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=784889&aid=2790414&group_id=152364 Please note that this message will contain a full copy of the comment thread, including the initial issue submission, for this request, not just the latest update. Category: None Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: Anurag Sharma (annu7uch) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Error in installation Initial Comment: Hi I downloaded the setup.exe file from the following location http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=152364&package_id=170188&release_id=496821 I select new MySQL databse to be created During installtion, .........I get this error message "Invalid class string" on database creation part. Two things 1. I see that this issue has been reported before and apparently closed.. but I dont find the solution to this issue. Can someone plz tell me how to resolve this issue. 2. when I get the "invalid class string" error during installation, there is no way to close the installer. The X button is disabled, the back button is absent, there is only a "next" button that I can click.... and that throws the error messgae... So you might wanna enable a way to close the installer in error cases like this. Plz help ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=784889&aid=2790414&group_id=152364 |

Category: Installer Group: None Status: Open Resolution: None Priority: 5 Private: No Submitted By: dirkcloete (dirkcloete) Assigned to: Nobody/Anonymous (nobody) Summary: Invalid class string Initial Comment: When installing with all the default options for both Firebird or MySQL i get the message Invalid class string on the Creating new database screen. When i do an install without creating a database it works fine. But when i run the scripts for the database and run the forum for the first time i get an error: Could not find specified column in results. All my database connectionstrings work fine. I will attach a firebird zipped backup file of the database created from the scripts. Doing a debug trace it happens here in the code... BaseWebFormClass.cs line: 295 try { Result = UserSession.LoginGuestUser(Global.BoardSettings.BoardID, Global.BoardSettings.LoginDays, Global.BoardSettings.InternalCache, Request.UserHostAddress, Global.BoardSettings.URL); } catch { Result = UserSession.LoginGuestUser(Global.BoardSettings.BoardID, Global.BoardSettings.LoginDays, Global.BoardSettings.InternalCache, Request.UserHostAddress, Global.BoardSettings.URL); } ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=784889&aid=1704461&group_id=152364 |
