My thoughts would be to stick with the [b][/b] style.  With the php
style boards using this method it means people won't have to remember
different styles. =20

thinking ahead about tags in posts.  Many forums have the following type
of
tags:

[b][/b] =3D bold
[i][/i] =3D italic
[url][/url] =3D url link

Is this the way to go or should we allow certain types of html tags
directly, i.e.

<b></b> =3D bold
<i></i> =3D italic
<a href=3D"url"></a> =3D url link

Thoughts?
