No

My installation of DivFix++ crash at the end of each file repair.
If I put several file in the list, and go with the fix command, the program will correctly fix the first item and then crash. I'm stuck fixing files one by one.
There is no file corruption however: the AVIs seem corrected.

All the AVI files I'm using are generated by a single photo camera. If you need it, I can try to upload a sample.

Himmm. I think crashes are not about your specific avi samples. I test fixing some files with SVN version and it's there is no error/crash...

Can I get information about your OS, architecture and DivFix++ version?

    Hi again.
Did you try to fix other files with DivFix++ on your computer? (Like some downloaded AVI clips from internet...)

I checked win32 binary from sourceforge now and It works! At least for my 4 small file.
I don't think that this problem rising about your files. But if you want you can send me your files ( I think 2 small file which can make problem is enough for debugging )

It crashes also using the two AVI samples provided by Microsoft:
    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/119383

It correctly find errors, strip indexes, but crashes at the end of the fixing.

P.S. Another bug I found is that the program is unable to fix directly the file: if you remove the "Keep Original File" option and try to fix, it says "Error: Input file cannot opened" (Btw, it should say: "Error: Input file cannot be opened").

P.P.S. The window showed when trying to "Strip Index" with the "Keep Original File" option, says "Strip Process is OVERWRITES FILE! ...". It should say: "Strip Process OVERWRITES FILE! ..."

Okey, I download file and I notice the bug.
I will tyr to fix this later.

PS: bug is resolved in SVN. Error code will be fixed.
PPS: this will be fixed too.

Thank you for feed back. Now time for debugging.
    :)

Added RIFF header chunk "vedt" and this fixed the problem.

I get the same crash with each avi file "fixed". I'm running on a Mac OS X 10.5.7, 2.4 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4GB 667 MHz DDR2 SDRAM
