Adam, I think made a little headway, thanks to Google. I found a Perl script that looks to be very similar, if not identical, to the one in your Webmin module: http://www.tiger.org/technology/dg/dglog.pl I customized it as noted to suit my directories and was able to run reports on my log files without problems, which suggests a couple of things to me: [1] there's nothing wrong with my logs, such as format or permissions [2] maybe permissions need to be changed somewhere in my webmin module so that the script will run on my server. Any idea what/where? ross eison -----Original Message----- From: Ross Eison [mailto:ro...@ei...] Sent: Monday, December 19, 2005 10:37 AM To: 'dgw...@li...' Subject: Webmin module config -- viewing logfile Adam, I made the changes per your directions--thanks--but I still see no results and no error messages. I've tried changing the report parameters from "ALL" to specific ones, but that doesn't seem to help either. Does logfile format make a difference? If so, which format should it be? Currently, mine is set to DansGaurdian format... ross eison --__--__-- Message: 1 Date: Sun, 18 Dec 2005 12:31:19 -0500 From: Adam Kennedy <ake...@ni...> To: dgw...@li... To change where it looks, click on "Module Config" right after clicking on the module from within Webmin. Configure your log directory path, and then try the log viewer again.
