It would make it possible to make a bluetooth accesspoint with the firewall. The new 100m bluetooth USB dongles cover a few rooms with bluetooth, handy with some PDA's. Hi Developers, Yesterday I booted the new 1.2rc1 cd and I found that lcd4linux init script and rc.x links are missing. I can find the init script in cvs (devil-linux/build/scripts/scripts/lcd4linux) but not on the booted system. In this init file the Default-Start and Default-Stop parameters are empty. Can it cause the whole problem? There are some other init scripts on the cd with empty Default-Start and Default-Stop parameters but they have links in rc.x directories. For example: dnsmasq, ez-ipupdate, gpm, etc Independently of this problem I attach a little patch of this init script. This patch check the necessity of ppdev kernel module and load the module if it isn't loaded yet. Bye, Zsolt |

The are new components for hostap (like wpa_supplicant, or whatever the name was). I won't be able to do much until end of next week, because I'm traveling. Dear Heiko, I've just cvs'ed (rel-1-2-patches ) and compiled it. Hey, I just checked into CVS all my latest changes to get Kernel 2.6.(8.1) support working. A few things still don't work, but most of the problems seem solved. I will be out of town all next week, so it would be great if you guys could test it and try to fix some of the problems. You will also need a new lfssystem, I uploaded it to the ftp server. The main differences are now: Kernel 2.6.8.1 Glibc 2.3.4-CVS GCC 3.4.2 Binutils 2.15.91.0.2 Any many other program updates. GRSecurity, PAX and SSP don't work yet. SSP shouldn't be to bad to fix, but the other 2 or missing the patches for the new Kernel. My FTP Upload is not finished yet, so wait at least 1-2 hours from the time I sent this email. -- Regards Heiko Zuerker http://www.devil-linux.org |
