Initial Comment: Hi all, In the previous version of DL i had set a firewall by bridging eth0 +eth1 and running iptables with the appropriate rules. The problem now with ver1 is that after the bridge is up and using the same rules nothing is blocked as if no firewall is totally bypassed .. any ideas ? ---------------------------------------------------------------------- You can respond by visiting: https://sourceforge.net/tracker/?func=detail&atid=410643&aid=841649&group_id=34096 |

I, and probably all other developers, rather tell you how to make
a patch than to do some typing according to your instructions.
Ok, here we go:
* copy the unchanged script to SCRIPTNAME.old
* make your changes
* cd /..../build/
* diff -u subdir/SCRIPT.old subdir/SCRIPT > outfile
* kwrite outfile
* copy and paste the whole content to a mail to devil-linux-developer
don't forget to set the subject to "[PATCH] ...."
and add some comments before the patch
PS: Set you mailclient to not break long line to not destroy the patch
if it has long lines.

the compil stops asking me some questions ... ... make[1]: Leaving directory `/data/build/tmp/rrlogind-1.3.3' removing debug symbols from binaries executing pppoe-patch4 with option build (in /data/build/tmp/pppoe-patch4) can't find file to patch at input line 4 Perhaps you used the wrong -p or --strip option? The text leading up to this was: -------------------------- |diff -r -N -u ppp-2.4.1.orig/configure ppp-2.4.1.pppoe3/configure |--- ppp-2.4.1.orig/configure Mon Apr 24 03:41:40 2000 |+++ ppp-2.4.1.pppoe3/configure Fri Mar 30 16:37:20 2001 -------------------------- File to patch: So, what do I tell him ? Guess it's not normal ... Cya MaNU -- |
