see on http://secure.netroedge.com/~lm78/ January 10th, 2004 Note to Linux 2.6.1 users. Linux 2.6.1 users will notice that sensors 2.8.2 doesn't work well for them (e.g. problems reading alarms and temperatures) and should get the CVS version of LM Sensors for working libsensors and sensors. For this reason, we plan to release LM Sensors 2.8.3 soon. disbled pwlib in my build.. checked also the latest cvs version, but has also compilation problems... deactivted also the i2c subsystem when kernel is 2.6, don't work for me... there are a lot of changes with video4linux.. so i think, all "need kernel patch" video products not compile until they are ported to 2.6 .. as i read, there are some packages, compiling with the 2.4 headers, and the binary works with 2.6.. but i think, if someone needs them.... use the 2.4 version and wait until the packages are compiling with 2.6... This email is to inform you about the release of version '4.0.4' of 'Shadow' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/shadow/ The changes in this release are as follows: This version removes obsoleted code, includes some cleanups with regard to documentation, and introduces some fixes. Project description: The Shadow password file utilities package includes the programs necessary to convert traditional V7 UNIX password files to the SVR4 shadow password format, and additional tools to maintain password and group files (that work with both shadow and non-shadow passwords). Trove categories: [Environment ] Console (Text Based) [Intended Audience ] End Users/Desktop [License ] OSI Approved :: BSD License (original) [Topic ] System :: Systems Administration If you would like to cancel subscription to releases of this project, login to freshmeat.net and choose 'home' from the personal menubar at the top of the page. This email is to inform you about the release of version '1.3.5' of 'Linux-VServer' through freshmeat.net. All URLs and other useful information can be found at http://freshmeat.net/projects/vserver/ The changes in this release are as follows: The next generation procfs for vserver was implemented, and the long missing procfs security features where added. This allows to selectively disable procfs entries on the host or vservers. Project description: Linux-VServer allows you to create virtual private servers and security contexts which operate like a normal Linux server, but allow many independent servers to be run simultaneously in one box at full speed. All services, such as ssh, mail, Web, and databases, can be started on such a VPS, without modification, just like on any real server. Each virtual server has its own user account database and root password and doesn't interfere with other virtual servers.
