Days of Ruin suffers from a standard FPS slowdown over the course of a battle, each time a turn is taken. This effect is more severe, the larger the map. Some testing examination suggests that the texture cache is climbing absurdly high any time a unit or map object animates. Example: at the start of a map the texcache reports a value of ~30, just moving a few units during the first turn but not ENDING that turn, results in that value climbing to the hundreds, resulting in a significant drop in FPS.
Although this was tested and examined under r2240, this has been occurring in my experiences in all builds of Desmume I've ran. Whether or not this is occurring with other titles remains to be tested.

I have played this game with svn2246 on my notebook and the FPS has been steady at 60FPS without any slowdown. I have completed several chapters and yet to see any slowdown. Just for info.
Are you still having this issue with the latest svn ?
I don't have fps slowdown issue and gameplay is not affected when it goes down to high 50s in 1-2 secs on rare ocassion (using no frameskip).
