#1787 The program crashes when playing PKMN White
for some reason the emulator keeps freezing and then crashing while i play pokemon white. i tried switching roms..tried deleting the cheat database file, but nothing seems to work, it is starting to get annoying to save every step.

Stop using hacked roms. Change 3d renderer to softrasterizer. change config > display method. Blow the dust out of your fans and search for failing hardware. Those should be the only things that can make "keeps freezing/crashing" happen

wdym by "hacked roms"? do you mean like custom games? its the classic pokemon white btw.
also wdym the dust of my fans..? i have a RTX4060..
If you have a dusty RTX4060 and have your desmume GPU settings jacked way up, it may be overheating. Your CPU and chipset fans may be dusty also. Desmume shouldn't be crashing on this game, so there's something wrong with YOUR system.
may i ask you to be more gentle? even if its dusty i can run other games like monster hunter to 150+ fps so i dont understand why it crashes. never crashed playing pokemon soulsilver.
Arguing with me doesn't constitute troubleshooting. I get the impression you haven't tried any of my suggestions yet. I'd begin with deleting desmume.ini and leaving everything at the defaults (change "display method" only if it continues to crash)
im not trying to argue with you, clearly you know much more about this program and i want to learn to fix it, therefore i need your help. Im really trying to be just kind and all ears of your advice, so please dont be hostile <3
i did tried your suggestions, thats the first thing i did but it kept crashing :c

i do know how to use my dekstop. i just i dont understand what exactly you want me to do..do you want me to open the windows console? or is it the files in the desmume root? i beg for your help please.
i dont get why you're like this. either way i found out. im trying to get a reproducible test case. i still dont get the part of "add that to desmume.ini" and "look for usefull diagnostics" please elaborate on that.
Basic computer operation skills. I can't tell you how to edit a file and look at what appears on your screen.

We don't make desmume X432R. You will find it impossible to get support from its vendors. Also as general advice, you're selecting text in the window which will suppress further information scrolling; but it's weird that there's no text there at all. Then again anything's possible with X432R. We don't know anything about it.
okay, i tried normal desmume and it stills crashes
i fixed the missing text on console on classic desmume, will send whatevers appears when it crashes.
the "show=1" was already on the desmume.ini, any further advice?
