Bug: The pause button causes problems.

Tl;dr: The neverending thunder light effect in dementium the ward is making the flashlight useless and the horror is gone.

So I am taking a guess by what i found as definition of "Ticket" that here I report glitches and bugs.
In the game Dementium the ward there is a point where the thunder outside light up the area allowing you to see for 0.1 seconds. I accidentally paused using the Pause/Break button at the worst time just when the thunder struck and now the screen is always lit up. No need for flashlight and now I can just run around rambo style with guns never fearing what might be in front of me. Because i can see it from anywhere literally. It isn't fixed by loading a prevoius state even when they are made before the bug was encountered.

For the record:
I don't know what "Not milestone" means. So i have left it as "none".
I don't know what the "Owner" tab means. So i didn't tick nothing.
I have just guessed what "Status" means.

Possible solution(s):
I have not tried uninstalling everything and reinstalling it. Because I want to keep my progress. Is there a way to save the progress or save slots so that I may uninstall and reinstall the emulator?

That is all i got. I think.

    If you think you did this by hitting pause at an unlucky time, then loading a save slot will fix it. You can save the save slots by saving the files desmume creates. Look for a .dsv file.

    I also doubt the pause button did this. It must be a coincidence. Savestate button, more likely.

    You're using a years old version of desmume.
    I paused and saved/loaded state both on latest builds and there's no problem

    Cool. I fixed it. I needed to save state, put the state away as I uninstalled DesMuME and then reinstalled it. I kept my progress! Thanks by the way. I forgot to check for commets for a while. But I found the solution!

    Also, loading a save state didn help anything. Not even one WAY before the accident.

    Hey. How do I change status? This was a bug. Also i confirmed that the pause button did it in an experiment.

      Admins change the status, which they have done in this case to reflect the reality that the user errored by using a years old version of desmume
