Ok Im new to this and ive looked around forever and cant find an answer to my specific problem. Long story short i cant open any roms in desmume. A bunch of windows pop up and one says something about homebrew DLDI patch. Doesnt that basically say it cant run homemade roms? i am running roms for pokemon that fix the exp problem so that may be it? Anyways how do i fix this? I nedd to use desmume to get through the dreamyard on black/white and draydens house on black2/white2. Any help would be appreciated!

Your roms are all broken. Find roms that arent broken.
The error message should have mumbled something about "you can't stream roms from disk, which is the default". There aren't many menus in desmume. You could try looking through them until you find the other option. If you want to run broken roms. Don't expect great results from broken roms.

OK I got one that isnt broken it opens in desmume (This is for white 2)But now when i open the rom from nds4IOS in desume my saved game doesnt appear and i have it set to save to my dropbox folder where my toms are on ios how to i fix this? Or is there a better way to play a rom between nds4IOS andDesmume?
OK I found some that work but i got a new problem.I use desmume to go between roms for when the crash on nds4IOS and when i loaded my save from nds4ios to desmumr it wasnt there. I have it set to save to my dropbox and when i load on desmume it doesnt load my progress. Is there a better way toplay roma between desmume and nds or should i start over since my game crashes on nds?
We don't make nds4IOS. Ask them for support. If NDS4IOS uses .dsv files then it should be as simple as moving the .DSV file, and if that doesnt work, you're moving the .DSV file wrong.
OK thank you what is the best type of rom file then to use on desmume?
That question is meaningless. There aren't types of roms.
Cannot reproduce the issue with failing to load Pokemon Black/White and Pokemon Black/White 2 -- all these ROMs seem to load just fine.
Closing, due to the user error of using broken ROMs.
