#1519 DesMume won't load the roms.

I've been looking around for a solution for a while now- I tried loading Pokemon Platinum rom that worked just fine few days ago and the screen remains the same as it is when you open the desmume. It doesn't want to load any other roms that worked previously either. The sound plays but the controls are not working- I tried loading the save state- no luck. I don't have any cheats + I tried deleting configuration- so far no luck.
I tried redownloading DesMume - and even the older versions - none of them worked.

I tried loading the roms on No$GBA and they work just fine so the roms are ok.

I am not sure what else to do at this point :/ I really love using DesMume for nds roms - it's so much better than good ol' No$gba is :(

i have the same problem yesterday i have the problem of the blackscreen in soulsilver but now DesMume doesnt load any roms.

stop using savestates. stop cheating. delete your cheats, delete your ini file. delete your dsv. redownload desmume. change desmume's "display method" or 3d renderer or reboot your computer or upgrade or downgrade your video drivers.

stop using savestates - I said that I couldn't even use save states or in game saves because the game won't even open. None of the roms would open.
Stop cheating delete your cheats- I also stated that I am not using cheats and that I deleted them before I redownload desmume.
Delete your ini file. delete your dsv. redownload desmume. - Tried that and it seemed to work after few days.
change desmume's "display method" or 3d renderer or reboot your computer or upgrade or downgrade your video drivers.- I believe that I did that too - or at least I was messing around with it - not sure if it helped.

Regarding the advice anyway which is still mostly good:
Some people when they say "game wont play" mean "game is hung when loading savestates". Not using savestates can fix that.
When the screen remains unchanged after loading the rom, is there any sound playing?

No there was no sound playing it was just like when you just open desmume.

huh, it seems emails lose the fact that the bug is actually a threaded conversation. Anyway, next time it happens, try removing your .dsv files.

No ROM Name was reported, and the ROM Serial was reported as "Homebrew". More information is needed about this ROM in order to troubleshoot. Exactly what ROM are you trying to load here?

it opens up the rom but then i requires me to tap the touchscreen and mac has no touch screen

That sounds unlikely. Perhaps you should improvise and try clicking instead of tapping your nonexistent touchscreen.
