I was playing to reach the first gym , so I went to save before battle . And I had been weak there I logged back where I had saved more give the screen went black . Hey how you do to fix ? watch a tutorial plus version is old as I do ? Help me please

I really need to find a solution without having to use the in-game reset! Why can't I use savestates?
Because savestates break over time.
I don't know what "in-game reset" is. Reset means to reset the game through the emulator, thus allowing you to load the last in-game save you used.

I tried that in-game save method, it is not working. I tried loading after reseting the rom and the closing the emulator. It is not working.

It's still black.
config > 3d settings > renderer > softrasterizer. You disabled your 3d (why?) or your GPU drivers are extremely broken.

Don't use savestates. Save in-game and restart the emulator.

If restart the emulator doesn't work, go to Config and click on "SoftRasterizer"

hi! I had the same trouble.. I am in goldenroad city in a Pkmn center. I saved in the game (and only in the game) and the next day the top screen is black. I managged to get out of the pkmn center and once outside I can see the little Goldenroad City sign in a corner, and that screen works with the gear an all. oh! and just now appears this: "2778 (no movie)"
ps: I have the 0.9.12 version
"2778 (no movie)" means
1. You pressed . (period) on your keyboard
2.You have actually loaded an in-game save, or else a savestate made within 48 seconds of booting the game. Since you said "and only in the game" I believe it's the former.
Please explain the exact steps you're following. You haven't been precise. You saved the game, and then walked away from your computer, and the next day the screen was black? You saved the game, closed the emulator, discovered that the screen WASNT black, then loaded your save file, then discovered that the screen WAS black?
i saved in-game before closing and when i opened the rom later, It did not continue from the in-game save but it came to the beginning. Is there any way we can mannually load the in-game save?(I DID NOT use desmume's savestaes
Search your hard disk for .dsv files. Next time, disable your security software and run desmume from a folder on your desktop, instead of program files or directly from the zipfile.
