When compiling the latest svn under Ubuntu Linux, recording video to either AVI or MKV does not work. I get the following error:

Fail to start x264: 2 No such file or directory
I've checked to make sure I have sufficient privaleges to the folder (And run using sudo). I've also attempted to both manually append the extention to the output filename and put quotes around the filename. I've also attempted saving to a folder located in the root directory. As a last resort, I tried re-compiling using no CFLAGS. Unfortunately, none of these have worked.

Unfortunately this does not resolve the issue. I've installed libx264-dev and libx264-142 was already installed. And I should also mention, when the play button is pressed to resume game emulation, I recieve the following error in the command prompt:

Error on writing video: 32 Broken pipe

    I said install x264, not libx264-dev and libx264-142.

Ah, I never realized they were different. Installing x264 resolved the initial error, however now I'm getting the following:

      raw [info]: 256x384p 0:0 @ 60/1 fps (cfr)
resize [error]: not compiled with swscale support
mp4 [error]: failed to finish movie.
Error on writing video: 32 Broken pipe

What configure flag would enable swscale support? Or is that referring to the x264 binary? Here's my configure parameters:

      ./configure --enable-glx --enable-hud --enable-openal --enable-wifi --enable-gdb-stub --enable-debug --enable-gpu-debug --enable-div-debug --enable-sqrt-debug --enable-dma-debug
