#1399 It won't load any ROMs
So far I believe I'm one of the only people with this problem. When I try to load any ROM compatible with DeSmuME it won't load. It stays a white screen with no audio. I did manage to load two of my many ROMs for this emulator, but the only way I can get access to them is from the 'Recent ROM' option, so I struggle to get even them open. It really has hindered me as I thought I would be able to play lots of games but I'm tied down to two and it's really becoming rather troublesome. I hope someone can fix this problem.

why is it a struggle to use the recent rom option?
are you saying that you can open xxx.nds from the recent rom menu, but not from the file > open rom menu?
Which directory is desmume.exe located in?

dsmume 0.9.9 wont work for me
since you wrote it in this bug ticket, maybe you should try the troubleshooting steps in this bug? or is this bug ticket completely unrelated to your problem?

i was able to play my games until i cleaned out some malware i didnt know i had. what happened?
ask your malware vendor why he zapped your desmume configuration or broke your video drivers

that same thing just happened on my desmume,
i was turning on harvest moon tail of two towns and the screen just went white.

and i tried with other games and they didn"t work ether
I was playing pokemon soul silver fine just five hour ago , left and cam back and now it won't open. I can only open my past save data but when I try to just open the rom and run from a the original it just stays white screen this just happen , how do I fix it and can it be fixed?

literally same thing happened to me too . was playing sould silver and left for about 2 hours and now it wont load

"run from a the original" doesn't make sense. "open past save data" via savestate hotkeys, or by loading from the in-game pokemon continue menu? using which OS and desmume version?
Everyone who have issues try to delete ini file and use newest SVN.
i cant open any new roms if i have to play a game i have to load a save state but if i wont to download a new game there is new save state to load
delete your ini files and cheat files and run from a folder on your desktop
It seems to have stopped working all together now. I'll probably try again
in a later version, I have a good few games on VisualBoyAdvance ^-^
