Try as a might, cannot figure out how to stop the [ key firing every time i move the mouse. Just installed Denise on an M1 mac and moving the mouse arouns just creates a rows of [[[[[[[[[[[[

Assum,e I've done something somehow unknowingly as i wrestled and fumbled around with the device settings.

given up looking as the UI is just frustrating. Just want a way to reset the key and device mappings to default.

There is no .prefs file to delete either.

Menu: Control -> Amiga or C64 Configuration
select Mouse #1 in drop down box, click Reset to remove all mappings of the device.

This is strange. Is it about the C64 or Amiga?
    Where are the [[[[[[[[[[[[
displayed? C64 Basic screen or Amiga CLI, e.g. loading Workbench?

Here is a sample after rebooting the Denise App... just going mental. Occasionally it lets me add a keypress but its pretty much [[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[[ constantly.

no, to reset to default settings you have to delete all *_settings.ini files
you will find theses files here : your home directory/Library/Application Support/denise

Maybe it's enough to update the keyboard settings.
Menu: Control -> C64 Configuration -> select keyboard in dropdown
now press "Automap" to reset to default

In Keyboard: I assigned a random key to the [ key and deleted it. Seems to have stopped??

There was nothing assigned originally... and seemed to increase in frequency when moving the mouse?

    Appears to be fixed

and seemed to increase in frequency when moving the mouse?

That is the part I don't understand. Mouse moving shouldn't do that. If you find a way to replicate this, let me know.
