I have been talking to Steffen Schulze off list about improved drivers for DScaler. He has been writing a program that descends from MultiDec and dTV and has changed the original dTV drivers so that the memory is allocated in the driver rather than in the dll. This prevents the code from crashing the whole machine when you exit the program early. His program (satellite) and code can be found: http://www.inf.tu-dresden.de/~ss50/src20010610.zip Source http://www.inf.tu-dresden.de/~ss50/sat20010610.zip Binaries There is lots of potentially good stuff in there. In my early tests taking the driver code back into DScaler the crashing did stop but on NT at least the driver hung the machine on exit. I won't change the driver code in CVS until I'm sure it's working properly but I thought I'd give you all a heads up. John |
