Hi guys - I don't know if anyone here is interested in this area but I've written an Avisynth filter that uses the Greedy (High Motion) plug-in code. This allows Greedy/HM to do deinterlace & pulldown matching for things like VirtualDub, TMPGenc, etc. Still testing, but I'll probably be posting the DLL to my web page shortly and looking for testers here and at AVS. Anyone interested in testing? But I'm not sure how to release this. Does everyone think I should add the source of the two very small new modules to DScaler? They probably would have to be in a separate sub-project or something and we wouldn't want to need Avisynth libraries to compile DScaler, but maybe the source could sit there. Or should I just keep the extra 2 source members on my web page somewhere. The Greedy/HM code had only a couple lines of compatible changes. I'd prefer not to fork it if possible. So, how should I distribute this? (Open source, of course) Please let me know what you think. I'll post doc either here or on my site soon. - Tom |
