Hello, I have a basic question which I have been so far unable to answer correctly : What is the correct way to insert an image ? I mean beyond the recommended : <mediaobject> <imageobject> <imagedata fileref="figures/eiffeltower.eps" format="EPS"/> </imageobject> <imageobject> <imagedata fileref="figures/eiffeltower.png" format="PNG"/> </imageobject> </mediaobject> I would like my image to fill the maximum space horizontally on a A4 paper (so it's almost 21 cm wide) for the PDF output and on a standard screen (1024*768) for the HTML output. In case the image is too big or too small, I would prefer to do the resizing myself (for quality reasons). So what is the correct (width) size I should use for my PNG (I think that's irrelevant for the EPS since it's vector format) and what is the correct way to use the different TAG. I haven't managed to get anywhere with the attributes contentwidth, contentdepth or scalefit... Either the image in the PDF output is too big, either it's too small in the HTML... Is the way dblatex work is different from other PDF generator (XSL-FO...) of am I misunderstanding something ? Thanks in advance, |
