Yes, I could maybe customize, but I'd prefer not to use a hyperlink in the first place, so I was wondering if there was an option to turn that off. > > 5) Why parameters callout and co ? Not a big deal, but made it confusing as I was trying to learn the parameters (including undocumented). > > 6) I see use of hyperlink and hyperref packages. Okay, sorry I accidently quickly misread \usepackage[hyperlink,article]{ ... } (package name is in the { braces } not the [ brackets ]. > > 7) How can I change the paperwidth and paperheight via command line? > > Or does it have to be done via custom latex style? But if anyone knows of different software I should use for generating PDFs ready for book production from DocBook, please let me know. I have tried a lot of software combinations (jade, openjade, jadetex, pdfjadetex, xmlto, xsltproc, passivetex) and your dblatex is working best for me (because doesn't use java, and does indexing and table of contents). I'd like to try others to compare though. (For my own writing, I almost always use LaTeX, but some of my authors prefer DocBook.) |
