Thank you for your dblatex software. I started using it a couple months ago. It is great for me because it doesn't require Java and also because indexing works for me. I have experience with LaTeX and with DocBook, but I am new to configuring your dblatex. I have a few comments/questions below. 1) latex.output.revhistory not documented -- patch attached 2) Spelling typos -- patch attached 3) I don't want hyperlinks -- since this is for print. I read docs about "nohyperlink" but no example. How do I set that on dblatex command line? I tried -P latex.class.options=nohyperlink and that changed the pink links to a blue box around the links. I also tried -P latex.use.hyperref=0 and -P co.linkends.show=0 and -P callout.linkends.hot=0. How can I get rid of any hyperlinks? 4) I also don't know if article or book is default. Section 5.4.2 mentions this. How do I set "book" on dblatex command line? I do see the book default is report but I also don't see how I can choose on command line. Sorry if this is obvious. I tried: -P latex.class.book=book and that failed with: /usr/pkg/share/dblatex/latex/style/docbook.sty:53: Environment abstract undefined. /usr/pkg/share/dblatex/latex/style/docbook.sty:53: leading text: \renewenvironment{abstract} book_tmp.tex:64: Environment stdabstract undefined. book_tmp.tex:64: leading text: \begin{abstract} book_tmp.tex:69: \begin{abstract} on input line 64 ended by \end{stdabstract}. book_tmp.tex:69: leading text: \end{abstract} Error: pdflatex compilation failed 5) Why parameters callout and co ? Seems inconsistent. 6) I see use of hyperlink and hyperref packages. I don't see the use of hyperlink package documented. 7) How can I change the paperwidth and paperheight via command line? Or does it have to be done via custom latex style? (I see default values in ./latex/style/docbook.sty.) It would be great if the FAQ could be updated for some of the above. Thanks again for your software. Jeremy C. Reed |
