#44 Laptop will not start properly after DBAN
Hi,
tried to use DBAN to wipt my lenovo laptop. Seemed to run ok but now done I am unable to get laptop up and running.
It now continually brings up the following message:
Broadcom UNDI PXE-2.1 v11.0.11
PXE-E61: Media test failure. check cable
PXE-M0F: Exiting Broadcom PXE ROM.

Pentium Dual Core CPU T4300
I hope you can help me save my laptop
By running DBAN you removed all data on the drive including the OS (Windows), softwware and your files. Everything was deleted. You will need to re-install an operating system to use the laptop.
This link might help you get the recovery install media from Lenovo for that model. After getting theses and installing your laptop should have everything like when it came out of the box new.
