#2 Drivers and odd number of clusters

1) We have problems getting DBAN to accept all kinds of
servers/Hardware RAID controller cards. Does anybody
have an idea about how to add more?

Somebody mentioned Fujitsu-servers as causing the
most problems...

2) There is a rumour (brought to me by an IBAS
salesperson...) that claims that Linux cannot address
tha last cluster of a disk if it has an odd number of total
number of clusters. The result would for example be that
DBAN would sometimes miss the last and final cluster on
the drive.

Is there any truth to this claim? Has anybody tested
this? Does anybody have a Dual OS installation where
Linux and windows report different disk sizes?

    1. DBAN does not have drivers for hard RAID devices.

    2. The kernel in DBAN is patched so that it can write to
the last sector of disks with odd sector counts.
