#388 Grey square flashes when icon tray showing activity - Linux Mint Cinnamon
This is a minor issue, but would be nice to have resolved for aesthetics if nothing else. On Linux Mint 20 Cinnamon (Cinnamon 4.6.7), DavMail's icon displays fine, but when it is displaying activity, it flashes a grey square as though at least one of the images in the "animation" is missing. At least, that would be my guess as to the cause. This is the case with the Linux Mint 20 channel version of DavMail (5.4.0) and with the manually installed latest version (5.5.1).
(DavMail is a great tool to have as a Linux user in an organization where Microsoft Exchange is the platform used, and without support for Linux users. Thank you so much for all of your great work!)
Tray icon support on Linux has always been an issue... In your case the easiest workaround is probably to disable icon activity in DavMail settings.
