I'm using DavMail 5.2 with Thunderbird 60.5.1 and Lightning 6.2.5.1. I'm able to see my Outlook (Office 365) calendar in Lightning and if I create an event in Lightning, it appears in my calendar and vice-versa.
However, when I receive an invitation to an event, this always appears in my calendar as "tentative". Regardless of whether I accept or reject it through Lightning, the status always shows "tentative". Status only changes when I change it through the Outlook Calendar Web interface.
Ideally I would like my acceptance/rejection through Lightning to also update the Web version of the calendar.
Please let me know if I have configured it wrong or if there is any other information I can provide that will help understand this. Thank you.
I'm not sure if it matters but the events this happens with are both recurring events and one-off events.
I can only tell you that it's supposed to work. Did you follow instructions at:
http://davmail.sourceforge.net/thunderbirdcalendarsetup.html
?
Vikram! I think I have the same problem as you. I went into "Advanced" in the DavMail UI and unchecked "Automatic CalDav Scheduling". Hopefully that will solve my problem, i'm on office365 too.
EDIT: I'm also checking "Edit Caldav notifications".

That worked! I get "It's been overwritten since it was opened" and other nonsense dialogs I click through sometimes, but that's okay. Everything works now!
